It's generally known in international markets that food tasting can be a profession, but it was rare to see one in this country. Therefore, it was a surprise that Kasetsart university had a course especially for this task. Dr.Thongchai gave us an overview about what KU had to offer, and also, an opening for a part-time for product testing. Mind you, it was not always about food tasting.

The lady was a role model for Guzzie, whose first cooking book was Delia Smith's. Delia was so famous in the UK that the Rolling Stones used her cooking as the cover for the album Let It Bleed. Indies' Girl talked to Associate Professor Penkwan Chompreeda about a made-in-Thailand product, Hommali flour. The product was made from Jasmine rice as a project initiated by the then-dean of Kasetsart university, the flour could be used as a replacement for wheat flour. A new style of Thai food, which aims to go international. Indies'Girl interviewed khun Paralee, the manager, about how this was started. Indies' Girl met another overseas experience chef. However, this guy also had a crafting skills with some experience in Thailand. He spent 7 months in UK with horrible experience. But, at the time of this writing, he was back in Bangkok, and was competitive in Loi Kratong festival, he had won several awards for his Kratong decoration.

This time, things were not as fun anymore, commuting became a big ordeal and a chef was fired. And finally, Kanjana managed to finish the interview. In tape 4, Vee mainly explained about what he was doing at the time of the interview, being in a team, responsible for the food section of the biggest shopping mall in the country. The attention to details of his new company was certainly a new experience to him, they did indeed count everything in dollar and cent. We sincerely thank Vee for sharing his time with us.
